| I'm pretty sure it's just a misprint. I was running the same check and the resistance was in spec but not between the two wires shown on the diagram. The correct resistance measure should be across A-B in my awesome MS Paint picture. 
If you look at the wiring diagram in the back of the book the wire in position C in the above (and the second wire in the resistance check diagram in the book) doesn't connect to the pump. It's wrapped around the ground to the pump but isn't connected. You can see where it ends, it's the blue wire above rubber plug that ends a few inches below the plug. 
You can see the black wire goes down to the pump and the white/purple stripe wire becomes the red under the plate. Those are the A-B in the harness diagram.
